On December 22, 2016, a new Christmas tradition was birthed on Facebook in a special video post entitled, “The A Cappella Nativity”.  Alvin Chea (of the 10X Grammy group Take 6) narrates the Christmas story underscored by the a cappella arrangements of producer Francis James Ralls.  The script, written by Disney show veteran Claud Smith III, stays true to the Biblical account of Mary, Joseph, and the Christ child.

In addition to narration, Chea lends his deep bass sound to the vocal cast, which includes Khristian Dently (Take 6), Mark Kibble (Take 6), Nirva Ready (Integrity Records), Randy Crenshaw (Hollywood voice actor and singer), Aubrey Logan (Post Modern Jukebox), Scarlett Ralls (Disney), Evalina Rose (Disney), newcomer Carrie Gideon, and Francis James Ralls.

This is Ralls’ second collaboration with Logan, Chea and Dentley this holiday season.  In November they released God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen as an A Cappella Christmas single (arranged and produced by Ralls).  The single was played regularly on 30 Contemporary Christian radio stations across the US and the UK during the month of December, 2016.
